Anger

you can not believe how sick and wild people out there can be!..

One of our company drivers Basha (indian) was beaten up by a Kuwaiti on the street yesterday...the reason is that his car slightly touched Basha's car as he made a sudden stop...

He punched him in the face thru window and that was not enough, he pulled him out, knocked him down, kicked him for minutes...this was happening at signals and no one was bothered to stop the guy...finally another kuwaiti managed to end that savagery...

Basha had to go to hospital alone with swollen and bleeding face...he is not able to talk now...

this is the saddest part: he has not decided yet if he will file a case against the guy...As you all know, in Kuwait it is such a big thing for an indian to stand against a Kuwaiti...

i have no more words to say...

It is totally shamefull
Had Basha had a Kuwaiti on his side he would've been able to file a case against that guy easier.
Grats on your new phone btw :)

Omg, that's heartbreaking! 7aram! I hate how some ppl in this country (and around the gulf) think that just cuz he's Indian they can just abuse him like that!

Poor guy, i feel so bad for him!

These things happen, but don't you think that few of the details were bias since you probably heard only Basha's side? There are moments when Kuwaitis get beaten up by foreigners on the streets too, but you may not hear much about them since they may be embarrassing to reveal.

Indians (without trying to oversimplify them) can be too overcautious drivers who may prompt accidents.

What you may not know is how frequent Kuwaitis fight each other because of road rage/accidents. That's when things get messy and are not reported.

Thank you for sharing the post.

Kaleidoscope, yes i heard only Basha's side...when u look at it with a scientific perspective you have to have at least two data (here, two opposite views) in hand to draw a healthy conclusion...However my approach was quite emotional..

I generally avoid generalising:)but there is a fact that we can not disregard: "Big fish eat little fish"...
