When the morning breathes us in...

An imaginary picture in the air
Vague yet so light, so calming
Our balcony at dawn
Neither hot nor chilling
You and I, sitting and eating
Olives blended with thyme
Fresh bread you got from the baker
Who wakes up at 3am everyday
To bake his breads with love
To send them early to people in love
And yes tea! That turns from yellow to red
Then to deep red, yet never reaches black
Can one smell things in a picture?
I can smell baby cologne in this balcony
Mixing with modest breakfast smell

Then my eyes
Catching your newly shaven head
And the peace
That after so many years
Finally settled on your face
Then your hands
Pulling up your heavy chair
To place it closer to mine

I was shown
The imaginary picture in the air
Vague yet so soft, so calming

Best friends talkin

L - " Maybe you need a vacation"
P - " I just had a long one"
L- " Then You need a blonde"
P - " Ah how blind we are. Penetrating the body has no value without penetrating the mind and the soul"
L - " (Nervous smile) What P? You have decided to change your career in marketing and become a preacher?"

no subject

Miles and miles...Perfect time to put the dusty shawl on the hanger, have one more coffee altough they say "You must not at this time of the evening especially if you skipped dinner (as usual)"...Of course before all of these I must get that vanilla & orchid room fragrance to be able to flow in a certain realm that sometimes chokes sometimes raise me up...

Bite

Pufffff! She blowed her visitors' delicious curiosity upon her glass globe with a grin on her face.

How safe she was under that costume made of worn-out human skin. How comforting her age was... The eyes of the child sitting at the frontiest of the group were as big as robust walnuts.

"I will start with you young man!" She, failing to hide her jealousy of a green-apple-like-long-life, pointed at the child with her long and dirty nail...

My Aphrodisiac

Two white daffodils were standing still between two doors, watching SomeOne's personal history.

One, leaning its head over the other’s chest, asked:
“ Are these summer and winter, or birth and death that we are stuck between?”

“ What about day and night?” The chest completed the question with his deep breath.
“Is it ‘time’ breezing cruelly between the doors? Doors can never embrace each other like we do. Is it this distance making the breeze that sharp?” The head continued.

"Probably Plato and Kant asked this to themselves so many times..." The chest exhaled.

"Sshhh! Quite! SomeOne has noticed us!" Her eyelashes started to move faster.

"Don't panic, SomeOne must be thinking about the knife shedding red tears now. The red pearls are all over SomeOne's mind, don't you see?" The chest calmed the head.

Then the white daffodils' lips suddenly turned purple, a juicy reddish purple. He smoothly picked some of the pearls from SomeOne's mind, made a string of them and put it around her neck.

Not after too long, a picture of the two-white-daffodils-with-purple-lips-standing-still-between-two-doors was taken and placed by SomeOne in SomeOne's personal history album, In June section...A juicy reddish June on the white sheets of the album...

Distracting Beans

- I was hoping to be at a coffee plantation in the Orosi Valley by now. I would not mind taking a van, full of sweaty workers with sun-parched faces, from the city a few times a week to familiarize my camera with the breathtaking landscapes.

- You know what? I started to believe that places we are located in have also share in deciding whether we will stay there more or leave! Some people can not be digested by some places (countries, cities…) and get thrown up fast. And some like you become an integral part of where they currently live or end up living, can't easily leave even if they want to.

- You have a point there yet this view would just serve covering my passivism the most visible symptom of which is the inability to decide.

- Don't mix up the two: Passivism & Acceptance!

- (Shrug) …Did you know that coffee tree, once planted, takes about five years to mature to first crop and even then a single tree will only make enough for about two pounds (1 kilogram) of coffee. Those two pounds equal about 2,000 beans…

- Why do you actually need to be there? There are lots of pictures of Costa Rica on the net. Why do you jail your dreams between some parallels and meridians?

- Maybe I need to get distracted sometimes by things/places/people that are far away…
