Distracting Beans

- I was hoping to be at a coffee plantation in the Orosi Valley by now. I would not mind taking a van, full of sweaty workers with sun-parched faces, from the city a few times a week to familiarize my camera with the breathtaking landscapes.

- You know what? I started to believe that places we are located in have also share in deciding whether we will stay there more or leave! Some people can not be digested by some places (countries, cities…) and get thrown up fast. And some like you become an integral part of where they currently live or end up living, can't easily leave even if they want to.

- You have a point there yet this view would just serve covering my passivism the most visible symptom of which is the inability to decide.

- Don't mix up the two: Passivism & Acceptance!

- (Shrug) …Did you know that coffee tree, once planted, takes about five years to mature to first crop and even then a single tree will only make enough for about two pounds (1 kilogram) of coffee. Those two pounds equal about 2,000 beans…

- Why do you actually need to be there? There are lots of pictures of Costa Rica on the net. Why do you jail your dreams between some parallels and meridians?

- Maybe I need to get distracted sometimes by things/places/people that are far away…
