I have been thinking about this mythological bird and realized that we human beings have so much in common with Phoenix. We die in flames and reborn from our ashes constantly in daily life. By the way I Somehow find similarity between the legend of Sisyphus and Phoenix’s. Pushing the rock hard and then running after it to be able to push again…Burning out along with what life pours on us to be able to sprout again… This repetitive circle seems like a curse but actually how you read it all depends on your point of view of life. Burning is good as long as my nest turns into a cradle for new me every time I die.*In Persian Mythology it is Simurgh.
