The magic of tambourine

was humble as
the rolled up sleeves
of that night blue shirt
exquisite, long fingers
stroke the tambourine
against the flat palm
shaked the jingles
the trumpet
and the drum
already gave up yet
the scent of the melodies
still lingers
on the fingers
